TheTexasLTConline.com is certified by the Texas Department of Public Safety. It meets the requirements for and replaces the required in-person classroom portion of the course. The instructor Samantha Horwitz is certified under Texas GC 411.188 and GC 411.190 to administer the License to Carry Online Course (classroom instruction).
Complete the online course and pass the online test.
2. After you have completed the online course, you will receive your LTC-101 certificate. Schedule your LTC proficiency test with a Certified LTC Range Instructor (you can schedule with us by e-mail) and complete your range proficiency test. Once you pass the proficiency test, your instructor will complete and sign the LTC-101 certificate.
3. Complete your application with the Texas Department of Public Safety at https://txapps.texas.gov/txapp/txdps/ltc/ and submit your LTC-101 Certificate at https://www.dps.texas.gov/rsd/contact/ltcatt.aspx
